Kitchen Equipment Technician to support our high-performance kitchen operations by ensuring all equipment runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, refrigeration, dishwashers, etc.)
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Coordinate with kitchen teams and external service providers as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma preferred.
