About The Role

Network and Security Operations

At Orange Cyberdefense Egypt, we're launching the build of a new dedicated team for one of our major World Wide tobacco customers.

We're looking for Network Security Engineers with strong hands-on expertise

Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network and security infrastructure, including:

Firewalls: FortiGate ,Manager and Analyzer

Load Balancers: F5

Secure Access: Ivanti

Knowledge on Networking Devices is a big plus: Cisco Core and Access Switches, Routers, Access Points, Wireless Controllers ,CISCO Meraki and Fortigate SDWAN

Job Role

Respond to escalated incidents from L1 teams, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution within SLAs.

Conduct routine system health checks, performance tuning, and optimization of network and security devices.

Perform technical and management escalations as per the escalation process to ensure progress toward resolution.

Provide remote support and change management assistance to customers on a 24x7 basis as required.

Resolve service incidents via troubleshooting and solving faults reported through the Customer SNOW ticketing system.

Perform service changes by assessing risk and implementing requests through change management tools.

Resolve service problems by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and designing action plans for unknown errors.

Perform solution releases by authorizing, validating (changes, upgrades, updates, patches, migrations), and implementing them.

Undertake Technical Assistance Center (TAC) function and manage vendor communication for problems, patches, and maintenance.

Manage and monitor Change and Incidents ensuring adherence to customer SLAs.

Education

About you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

2+ years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering, with expertise in the technologies and vendors mentioned above

Skills

Strong troubleshooting skills, with a focus on resolving complex network and security issues.

Proficiency in implementing configuration changes and patches across multiple technologies.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Excellent English language (writing and speaking)

Ownership and accountability

Certifications (Highly Desirable)

F5 LTM

CCNP

Fortinet
