Laboratory Technician to join theSpecialty Chemicals and Services Divisionat our H2O Laboratory in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work in close coordination with theMadrid laboratory teamand will collaborate with theglobal Research and Scientific Services team, which includes laboratories located inMadrid (Spain), Manchester (United Kingdom), and San Diego (California, USA).
Key Responsabilities
- Performautopsies (dissection)andsamplingon Ultrafiltration (UF) & Microfiltration (MF) Modules, as well as Nanofiltration (NF) & Reverse Osmosis (RO) Elements.
- Conductmembrane characterization, including analysis offluxandsalt rejectiondata.
- Assess the effectiveness ofchemical cleanersin restoring membrane performance through controlled cleaning tests.
- Verify andmaintainlaboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with thelaboratory quality management system.
- Supportwater sample analysisusing established laboratory techniques, such asspectrophotometryandtitration.
- Collect, process, and analyze laboratory data toassistin the preparation of detailed technical reports.
- Participate in regular meetings with theMadrid teamto coordinate laboratory activities and provide progress updates.
- Applyproblem-solving skillsto troubleshoot,maintain, and repair laboratory equipment asrequired.
- Provide technical and operational support to the broadertechnical team.
- Work independently whilemaintainingregular communication and collaboration with colleagues across multiple sites.
Qualifications And Experience
Professional Qualifications
- Advanced Technician diploma inAnalytical and Quality Control Laboratoryoran equivalentqualification.
- Demonstratedpractical laboratory skillsand technicalproficiency.
- Experience inmaterial and reagent management.
- Strong command ofMicrosoft Office applicationsand related digital tools.
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
- High levelofEnglishproficiency(spoken and written).
- Ability to handle and lift laboratory components weighing up to25 kilograms.
