Job Summary:
The Landscape Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing outdoor spaces such as parks, gardens, residential communities, and commercial landscapes. The role focuses on creating functional, sustainable, and aesthetically appealing environments.
Key Responsibilities:Design & Planning
- Develop landscape design concepts, master plans, and detailed drawings
- Prepare site plans, planting plans, and 3D visualizations
- Ensure designs align with client requirements, budget, and regulations
Project Management
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Oversee project execution to ensure design accuracy and quality
- Conduct site visits and monitor progress
Sustainability & Compliance
- Incorporate sustainable practices (water management, native plants, irrigation systems)
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards
Client Interaction
- Meet clients to understand project requirements and present design proposals
- Provide revisions based on feedback
Technical Work
- Use design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
- Prepare cost estimates and material specifications
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in landscape design and project execution
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite)
- Strong knowledge of plants, materials, and irrigation systems
- Good communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects
- Knowledge of local authority approvals (e.g., Dubai Municipality)
- Professional certification or license is a plus
