The Landscape Engineer will play a pivotal role in studying, designing, Pricing and implementing innovative landscape (softscape and irrigation systems) for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop landscaping (softscape and irrigation) plans that enhance the aesthetic and functional value of outdoor spaces.
- Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports, plans, and presentations for clients and stakeholders outlining design concepts, project progress, and environmental considerations.
- Select and source plants and materials in line with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Monitor and maintain landscape installations and provide aftercare advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in landscape design and project management, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Proficient in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of Irrigation systems.
- Strong understanding of horticultural practices, soil science, and environmental sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
