Job Purpose/Role:
Responsible for upkeeping, monitoring, and maintaining of all Landscape, Horticulture, irrigation & Pest Control related maintenance & operation to ensure that the property is always kept to the highest standards & performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Regularly coach or mentor team members, to build capability and create readiness to address change.
- Develop and establish effective landscape and ground maintenance solutions inclusive of techniques and processes.
- Establish and maintain plants, trees, shrubs, and other horticultural requirements in accordance with environmental and site specifications.
- Manage inventory stock levels of landscape equipment and supplies including fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides to optimum level.
- Sourcing ability of approved landscaping chemicals, tools, and spare parts from suppliers for stock replacement needs.
- To determine the needs of fertilizers dozing application as per seasonal requirements.
- Knowledge and experience in water management, irrigation system installation and maintenance.
- Develop routine and Preventive maintenance plans for landscape , irrigation systems, and pest controlling, impairment as schedule.
- Responsible for all kinds of reactive work related to the position.
- Conduct regular condition surveys for Landscape and irrigation and initiate action plans for impartments.
- Familiar with PTW & JSA procedures during exactions, irrigation repairs and reconditions sprinkler piping including valves and sprinkler heads, controllers etc.
- Monitoring and updating the sprinkler piping system maps by drafting scale-based diagrams as changes occur to the system.
- Identify staff training needs and assist with development of training programs, in Landscape,
- Irrigation and integrated pest management.
- Implement procedures of IPM practices to suppress pest populations below the economic injury level (EOL).
- Ensure all IPM activities are carried out in accordance with the Environmental, Health & Safety standards.
- Gather and analyze data on pest trends and population history at site to determine treatment technics and chemicals to use to controlments to EOL.
- Awareness on IPM HSE policy, Risk assessments, MSDS/ COSHH on pest controlling activities.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential harborage of pests, infestation level, sanitation and waste management activities that could affect the population of pests and pest proofing.
- Prepare documents and reports for Landscaping, Irrigation systems and Pest controlling as per site requirement.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient catering operations and food safety processes in the workplace.
- Ensure food safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture or Horticulture.
- 10 years of experience in Landscape and Irrigation System or similar position or field Certified in Pest Management, or similar
- Good leadership and management skills can ensure efficiency in processes and productivity among employees.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you meet and communicate with contractors, government officials and the public.
- Strong Verbal, & written communication skills in English.
- Understanding of proper pruning techniques, rose care, turf management, planting, perennial and annual care as well as native plants and ecosystems.
