What you'll do
- Lead the analysis of architectural requirements in alignment with project specifications, building codes, and relevant international standards.
- Oversee the creation of architectural concepts and design strategies for various building and site development projects.
- Supervise and approve detailed architectural designs, including building layouts, site planning, and landscape elements.
- Review and guide the preparation of architectural sketches, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings, ensuring design clarity and constructability.
- Interpret and integrate architectural specifications and client requirements throughout all phases of design development and review.
- Direct the preparation of working drawings and construction documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with design intent.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor design drawings, reports, and technical submittals, ensuring alignment with project standards.
- Oversee the production of 3D models and visualizations, ensuring they support design communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Define architectural design criteria and monitor deliverables to ensure adherence to project objectives, quality standards, and timelines.
- Prepare and validate material specifications and lead the selection of materials based on project performance and design criteria.
- Lead architectural input into quantity estimations, ensuring accurate material take-offs and alignment with the approved design.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, and tendering departments, ensuring integrated design development across all disciplines.
- Review and develop architectural technical reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and effective communication of design intent.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers, fostering design excellence and knowledge sharing across the team.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Arch. engineering
- 5 to 8 years of experience in same position.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and presentations
- Advanced user of AutoCAD and MicroStation for 2D drafting and technical drawing production
- Familiar with architectural codes and building standards, including local and international regulations (e.g., IBC, NFPA)
- Skilled in technical report writing, including design justifications, specifications, and compliance reports
- Experienced in Revit and 3D modeling software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion) for BIM coordination and visualization
- Effective team leadership and management abilities, including supervising junior staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities, ensuring timely delivery of design
