Lead Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical)
We are seeking an accomplished Mechanical Lead Commissioning Engineer to lead mechanical commissioning activities for large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and efficient commissioning of complex mechanical systems in line with project, client, and regulatory requirements.

Your Role
As a Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Lead and manage all mechanical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through start-up and handover
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, HSE, Operations, and Client teams
- Review and approve commissioning procedures, check sheets, and method statements
- Lead mechanical system walk-downs, punch listing, and system handover certification
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.)
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to commissioning engineers and supervisors
- Interface with vendors and OEMs during testing, inspections, and start-up activities
- Drive commissioning schedules, risk assessments, and performance reporting
- Champion HSE excellence throughout commissioning phases
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, with extensive exposure to EPC commissioning; Proven experience as a Mechanical Lead or Senior Commissioning Engineer
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise: Strong background in commissioning of rotating equipment, static equipment, piping, and packaged systems; Solid understanding of commissioning workflows, systemization, and turnover processes; Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; Experience working on onshore and/or offshore Oil & Gas facilities
