Job Purpose:
Combining computer science, statistics and mathematics, a Data Scientist analyzes and models data to create actionable plans for all stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:
- MSc or PhD in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, physics (or similar quantitative field)
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role or similar roles
- Strong ability to process large amounts data from different data sources (SQL, No-SQL, Big Data)
- Strong knowledge of applied mathematical and statistical analysis
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
- Strong knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools
- Tools: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Data Lake Analytics, HDInsight
