Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Electrical Engineer based in Dubai. You will handle the design, development, and delivery of electrical control cabinets, power distribution panels, and related assemblies. This role oversees the entire engineering processfrom conceptual design to manufacturing support, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
In addition to technical leadership, this role plays a key role in business development, helping expand the solutions portfolio by engaging with clients, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to strategic growth efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in electrical cabinet or panel design, industrial automation, or power systems. Senior profiles will be evaluated based on relevant experience.
Proficiency with electrical design CAD/CAE tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Elec, EPLAN P8).
Proficiency with the development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and bills of materials.
Experience with high-power cabinets, renewable energy systems, or advanced automation platforms.
Experience in pre-sales engineering, proposal writing, or customer-facing technical roles.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet).
Strong understanding of electrical standards (IEC 60204-1, IEC 61439).
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Customer-facing communication skills and experience in technical discussions
Experience in electromechanical assembly and light manufacturing is a major plus.
