Role Summary

The Lead ERP Oracle Fusion Solution Architect is responsible for leading the end-to-end architectural design, governance, and integration of Oracle Fusion ERP solutions across Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Human Capital Management (HCM) domains. This role plays a critical leadership position within a large-scale enterprise, ensuring that Oracle Fusion solutions are scalable, secure, compliant with enterprise standards, and aligned with business strategy.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams, vendors, and the Solution Architecture Centre of Excellence (CoE) to drive architectural consistency, quality, and innovation across ERP initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Architecture & Solution Design

  • Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion ERP implementations covering Finance, SCM, and HCM modules.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing ERP architectures.
  • Define and maintain ERP reference architectures, solution blueprints, and design standards.
  • Ensure alignment of ERP solutions with enterprise architecture, security, data, and integration standards.

Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Provide architectural governance across ERP programs and projects, including design reviews, solution sign-offs, and compliance assurance.
  • Enforce best practices for Oracle Fusion configurations, customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle Fusion best practices, cloud principles, and enterprise policies.
  • Oversee documentation standards, design artifacts, and knowledge repositories.

Integration & Technical Oversight

  • Define and govern integration patterns between Oracle Fusion ERP and upstream/downstream systems using tools such as OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and middleware platforms.
  • Guide teams on data architecture, orchestration, and master data alignment across ERP landscapes.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and integration teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders on ERP architecture strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with functional leads (Finance, SCM, HCM), developers, integrators, and vendors to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Provide architectural leadership, mentoring, and guidance to solution architects and delivery teams.

Continuous Improvement & Support

  • Support ongoing ERP enhancements, upgrades, and optimizations across Oracle Fusion modules.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex architectural and integration issues.
  • Contribute to the evolution of ERP architecture capabilities within the Solution Architecture CoE.
  • Stay current with Oracle Fusion roadmap, new features, and emerging ERP technologies.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP, including:
  • Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Budgeting)
  • SCM (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Logistics)
  • HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Absence, Workforce Management)
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture, configurations, extensions, and reporting.
  • Extensive experience with ERP integrations, middleware, APIs, and data flows.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, security, and performance optimization.
