Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineering Lead to design, build, and operate scalable web applications and production-grade LLM-powered systems. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and AI evaluation frameworks.
You will own architecture decisions, release quality, and engineering standards while mentoring developers and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver reliable, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of scalable full-stack applications across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure layers
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js
- Build modern frontend applications using React
- Own Docker containerization and cloud deployments on GCP, including networking, observability, and cost optimization
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented components
- Model and manage SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability
- Build and operate production LLM systems, including:
- AI agents and multi-step tool-driven workflows
- MCP servers/clients and interoperable tool schemas
- LLM-as-a-Judge evaluation pipelines and performance metrics
- Define and enforce standards for unit, integration, and service-level testing
- Own CI/CD processes and release quality gates
- Provide mentorship, conduct design reviews, and guide technical best practices
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building and operating full-stack systems
- 2+ years leading developers or owning major production systems
- Proven experience architecting scalable applications
- Hands-on experience with Docker, GCP, Python, Node.js, and React
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- 2+ years designing and operating production LLM systems, including agents, workflows, MCP components, and evaluation frameworks
- Experience establishing testing standards and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Engagement Details
- Contractor engagement (no medical or paid leave)
- Minimum 20 hours per week, at least 4 hours per day
- 4 hours of PST overlap required
- Duration: 3 months (extendable based on performance and engagement)
