Lead HSE Engineer
As the Lead HSE Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across major EPC oil and gas projects. You will serve as a key advisor to project management, ensuring that all site activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with international standards and regulatory requirements.

Your Role
As Lead HSE Engineer, you will have the following areas of accountabilities
- Lead the development and implementation of HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, PTW systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Oversee HSE performance across multidisciplinary EPC teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Ensure project compliance with international HSE standards (OSHA, ISO 45001/14001) and client requirements.
- Facilitate HSE meetings, toolbox talks, training programs, and safety campaigns.
- Monitor HSE metrics, KPIs, and performance trends, providing regular reports to project leadership.
- Drive proactive safety initiatives to reduce hazards and ensure operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of HSE experience, including significant exposure to EPC oil & gas projects.
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field
- Certifications : NEBOSH, Incident Investigation Techniques, ISO Lead Auditor (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 preferred)
- Expertise : Strong specialization in Painting, Coating & Surface Preparation. Professional certifications such as NACE/AMPP Level II or III, BGAS Grade 2/1, or equivalent. Thorough knowledge of industry standards (ISO 12944, SSPC/NACE, ASTM, ISO 85018503, etc.). Expertise in managing coating QC activities for pipelines, structural steel, tanks, modules, and plant facilities. Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
