Lead Interior Designer-Opera

One of our many projects, Azizi Venice, where Azizi is the Master Developer, has an approximate value AED 30 billion and is a mixed-use development located in Dubai South. The crown jewel located at the heart of the development will be Azizi Opera, a state-of-the-art opera house. Azizi Venice is planned to welcome over 30,000 visitors daily and Azizi Opera will become one of the most notable venues for high-caliber events in the emirate.

The Lead Interior Designer for the Opera house shall have experience in delivering an Opera Hall, theatre, concert hall or similar performance venue(s). The person should have a clear understanding of the functionality and constraints of this typology, experience in coordinating with the associated disciplines, and demonstrate excellent design skills. Excellent proficiency in Rhino 3d and Autodesk Revit is required. The Lead Interior Designer will be part of the team delivering the Azizi Venice Opera House with particular focus on the two main halls and supporting spaces such as lobbies, commercial areas including f&b, bathrooms, and associated functional areas. The Lead Interior Designer shall be responsible for developing his/her scope of the design in line with design program and budget and shall coordinate with all relevant disciplines, perform quality control, and instruct and mentor junior architects on the team.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and deliver the design package (s) assigned in an efficient, precise and timely manner.

Coordinate drawing packages with all relevant disciplines

Perform quality controls as per the Studio 360 quality control manual

Assist in resolving any design issues as per authorities regulations.

Provide support to junior team members while guiding them throughout work processes.

Attend meetings with external consultants and authorities when needed.

Educational Qualification:

• Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design/Relevant Field

Experience:

• Minimum 12-15 Years
