Leasing Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Leasing Specialist to support retail leasing activities by managing tenant inquiries, coordinating lease documentation, and contributing to occupancy targets.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with prospective tenants and understand their leasing requirements

Present suitable retail unit options

Negotiate lease terms and commercial conditions

Prepare MOUs and lease agreements

Coordinate internal approvals and ensure timely signing

Follow up on payments with clients and treasury

Provide regular leasing progress reports

Act as a point of contact for tenant inquiries

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

Minimum 1+ year of leasing experience (Retail / Commercial preferred)

Background in Retail Leasing

Yardi experience is required

Knowledge of lease agreements and MOUs

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred

Experience in malls or retail environments

Knowledge of real estate regulations
