Key Responsibilities:
- Support legal professionals in organizing and managing legal documents, including drafting, reviewing, and editing agreements, motions, and other legal correspondence.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on various legal topics, such as case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Oversee the management and update of the legal document management system to ensure that information is accurate and current.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes and workflows to improve the efficiency of the legal department's operations.
- Assist in the creation and review of a variety of legal documents, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements, powers of attorney, and other legal communications.
- Collaborate with legal professionals and team members to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for meetings, hearings, and depositions.
- Help prepare and organize materials for trials, including exhibits and witness lists.
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive or privileged information.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that could impact the organization, providing recommendations where applicable.
- Manage the legal management system, including conducting training sessions, follow-ups, and database maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management systems.
- 3 years of substantial paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Able to work efficiently within a busy, team-oriented environment.
- Bilingual in Arabic and English.
