Our client is a licensed Asset Manager recruiting for a highly experienced Legal & Compliance Manager.

Join a expanding asset management platform as a key partner overseeing legal operations and regulatory compliance frameworks across all business activities.

• Oversee the legal & regulatory compliance framework ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.

• Direct all regulatory communications, periodic filings, compliance audits, and external authority relationships.

• Manage investor onboarding procedures, anti-money laundering (AML/KYC) controls, and portfolio mandate monitoring activities.

• Draft, review, and negotiate key fund and legal documentation, commercial contracts, and service provider agreements.

• Advise leadership on fund structuring, cross-border legal considerations, and corporate governance practices.

skills and experience required

• Bachelors of Law Degree

• Minimum 6-8 years of legal & compliance within the fund management industry.

• Deep technical knowledge of Singapore's regulatory landscape, including SFA, FAA, and AML/CFT requirements as well as familiarity with VCC structures.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to interface effectively with business leaders.
