Mackenzie Jones is currently supporting a multinational organisation in the search for a senior legal professional to join its global Legal, Compliance & Contract Affairs function.
This role sits at the intersection of legal strategy, litigation management, compliance oversight, and corporate governance, with exposure across multiple regions and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to the Global Head of Legal, Compliance & Contract Affairs, supporting strategic and operational priorities
- Oversee and manage legal, compliance, and contractual matters across assigned global regions
- Lead and coordinate litigation and recovery actions, working closely with external law firms
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and internal policies
- Monitor and manage regulatory compliance, legal risk mitigation, and governance standards
- Maintain oversight of global litigation registers, legal notices, and compliance documentation
- Prepare regular legal, compliance, and litigation status reports for senior leadership
- Support and deliver branch trainings on legal documentation, risk awareness, and compliance standards
- Play a key role in strengthening internal controls, processes, and legal frameworks across the business
Key Requirements
- Law degree (LLB / LLM) from a reputable university
- 5+ years of legal experience within multinational organisations
- Minimum 5 years experience in the GCC
- Strong background in contracts, litigation, arbitration, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Proven ability to manage external counsel and complex cross-border legal issues
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- English fluency essential
