To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide high-level legal support on corporate and commercial matters. This is a part-time, remote role that plays a key function in ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding the company's legal interests, and advising internal stakeholders and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate and regulatory matters in compliance with UAE laws
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MoUs, NDAs, and other legal documents
- Support internal departments (HR, operations, finance) with legal guidance
- Advise on client contracts and support deal negotiations from a legal perspective
- Ensure ongoing compliance for projects and monitor regulatory changes relevant to the business
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, when required
- Coordinate with external legal firms on specialized or jurisdiction-specific issues
- Maintain and improve internal legal policies, templates, and procedures
- Conduct legal research to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (specialization in corporate or commercial law preferred)
- Proven experience with UAE legal framework, including labor, commercial, and contract law
- Hands-on experience supporting corporate governance and client-facing legal work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical, advisory, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate within a fast-paced, agile environment
