Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

• Proactively support the formulation and delivery of legal and commercial objectives across the Group.
• Lead and oversee drafting, negotiation and finalisation of contracts (excluding highly complex matters), including key terms and conditions.
• Advise senior management on legal risks, liabilities and governance matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and best practice.
• Manage legal claims, complaints and disputes, preparing clear analysis and recommendations for leadership.
• Support new business formation and ongoing corporate governance, ensuring regulatory and structural compliance.
• Act as a key legal partner to the CLO, VP Legal and wider leadership, liaising with external counsel where specialist expertise is required.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Law from a reputed university.
• Minimum 4 years of Post-Qualified Experience
• Previous experience at a top-tier international law firm.
• Expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and/ or commercial law.
• Strong work ethic and structured thought process.
