Legal Counsel (English & Russian)

FertiStream, headquartered in Dubai, is an international trader of mineral fertilizers, also providing freight and maritime logistics services. We operate across global markets, combining risk management, market intelligence, and technology-driven solutions.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Dubai team. The role is focused on supporting the trading business, with primary responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts under English law, as well as providing day-to-day legal support to commercial and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (sale & purchase, trading-related contracts) primarily governed by English law
• Provide legal support to sales and operations teams on day-to-day matters
• Handle claims and disputes arising from trading activities
• Support corporate housekeeping (resolutions, powers of attorney, corporate documents)
• Prepare legal memoranda and internal legal documentation
• Maintain and improve contract templates and internal legal tools
• Liaise with external legal counsel as needed

Key Requirements:

• Law degree
• 46 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years in commodities / raw materials trading or trading houses
• Strong knowledge of English law and proven contract-drafting experience in English
• Commercial mindset and ability to work closely with business teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English and Russian
