Position Title: Legal Counsel – TMT Contracts

Location: Dubai

About the role: We are supporting a leading organisation in Dubai with the hire of a Legal Counsel to join its Technology, Media & Communication Contracts function. The role centres on complex technology contracting, including digital transformation, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, fintech, and largescale enterprise technology procurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology, media, and communication contracts.
• Advise on deal structuring, risk allocation, and negotiation strategy for major procurements.
• Provide legal guidance on emerging technologies and regulatory considerations (AI governance, data localisation, cybersecurity frameworks).
• Support highprofile technology initiatives and framework agreements with global vendors.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide clear, strategic legal advice.

Experience Requirement

• Qualified lawyer from a recognised common law jurisdiction.
• 8–15 years PQE, with strong grounding in a toptier international law firm and reputable inhouse legal team.
• Deep experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts.
• Proven exposure to digital transformation projects, cloud services, cybersecurity, AI, fintech, and emerging technologies.
• Experience advising public sector or large institutional clients.
