Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our lawyers in day-to-day legal tasks. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain exposure to real-world legal work in a supportive and professional environment.
The intern will assist in drafting, research, documentation, client preparation, and administrative legal tasks, with the opportunity to observe how high-quality legal work is delivered in the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Intern, you will gain experience in the following areas:
1. Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Assisting in drafting legal documents including NDAs, MOUs, Shareholder Agreements, Wills, Resolutions, and Corporate Amendments.
- Reviewing contracts and identifying key legal risks and issues.
- Preparing bilingual (EnglishArabic) consolidated documents with guidance.
2. Legal Research
- Conducting structured research on UAE Laws, including Commercial Companies Law, DIFC/ADGM regulations, Labour Law, and Real Estate Regulations.
- Summarising legal updates, case laws, and practical notes for internal use.
3. Transactional Support
- Assisting with company incorporations, share transfers, documentation review, and due diligence compilations.
- Supporting the preparation of client deliverables, checklists, and filing documents.
4. Litigation & Dispute Support (non-advocacy)
- Preparing document bundles, timelines, and factual summaries.
- Assisting with evidence organisation and drafting simple legal correspondence.
5. Administrative & Organisational Tasks
- Maintaining internal legal databases and document folders.
- Organising files, formatting documents, and supporting client communication preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
- Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet timelines.
- Strong interest in UAE corporate and commercial law.
