A prominent government‑linked organisation in Dubai is seeking experienced legal and regulatory professionals to join its regulatory affairs function. This role plays a key part in overseeing the licensing, registration, and compliance of legal service providers.

About the Role

The position involves supporting the regulation of legal practitioners and legal consultancy firms, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Managing registration and licensing processes for legal professionals and firms

• Reviewing applications and preparing legal assessments or opinions

• Conducting inspections and monitoring compliance

• Identifying violations and supporting enforcement actions

• Handling enquiries and preparing official correspondence

• Contributing to ongoing improvements in regulatory processes and frameworks

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in law from a recognised university

• 4–8 years experience in regulatory, licensing, or legal operations roles

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures

• Ability to review applications, draft legal opinions, and manage regulatory workflows

• Experience with inspections, violations, or enforcement is advantageous

• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills

• Proficiency in English required; Arabic is an advantage
