Job Title: Legal Officer

We are seeking an experienced Legal Officer to join our dynamic Legal & Compliance team. The company focuses on platform services, software licensing, and distribution agreements. The ideal candidate will focus on managing a variety of contracts, providing strategic legal advice on international business lines, and ensuring compliance with international standards. This role requires a proactive professional with iGaming expertise to handle contract-related tasks autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of contracts, including license software agreements, distribution agreements, IP assignment agreements, aggregation services agreements, and other related legal documents.
- Provide internal legal and strategic advice on different international business lines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Offer preparation and advice on compliance and tax matters related to business operations.
- Prepare and present reports, opinions, and other related legal documents at an international level.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, licensing requirements, and emerging trends, particularly in B2B contexts.
- Assist in risk assessments and dispute resolution related to contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance) to support business initiatives while mitigating legal risks.
- Maintain accurate legal records and ensure contract compliance with international industry and jurisdictional standards
- Stay updated on regulatory changes in key markets and advise on their impact to the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a strong focus on contract management and international regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal), with strong drafting and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast- paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Plus Factors)
- Experience in B2B iGaming platforms, aggregators, or software providers.
- Master's degree (LLM) or specialized courses/certifications in contract law, intellectual property, or iGaming-related regulations.
- Knowledge of Spanish (written and spoken) for handling multilingual contracts or stakeholders.
- Familiarity with international jurisdictions relevant to iGaming.
- Experience in iGaming licensing and regulation, with an emphasis on contract implications.
