Job Description

We are seeking an experienced bilingual Legal Secretary (English & Arabic) to support a busy legal team within a reputable organisation. This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment and liaising with both Arabic- and English-speaking stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative and secretarial support to lawyers and legal professionals

  • Prepare, format, translate, and proofread legal documents in English and Arabic

  • Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls in both languages

  • Handle document filing, archiving, and version control (physical and electronic)

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, court dates, and deadlines

  • Liaise with courts, government authorities, clients, and third parties

  • Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and general office administration as required

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant (law firm or in-house)

  • Strong knowledge of legal documentation and terminology

  • Excellent typing, formatting, and document management skills

  • High level of attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
