Role Description The Life Insurance Agent role at MetLife Egypt is a full-time, hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt, with some flexibility for working from home. In this role, the agent identifies prospective clients, explains life insurance and related products, and recommends suitable coverage based on individual financial needs and goals. Daily activities include meeting with clients in person and virtually, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals, and supporting clients throughout the application and underwriting process. The agent maintains ongoing relationships with policyholders, responds to inquiries, handles policy updates, and ensures high-quality customer service. The role also involves meeting sales targets, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to stay informed about product updates, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively explain products and close agreements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships and provide responsive support to clients.
- Relevant experience in financial services, banking, or insurance is beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to work with targets, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client engagements.
- Proficiency in basic office software and digital communication tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic and good command of English is advantageous.
