About the role:
Our client, a Riyadh-based consulting firm, is engaged with a leading bank and is seeking an experienced Life Insurance subject matter expert to support high-impact engagements in KSA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Develop and optimize Protection & Savings products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with long-term financial objectives.
- Investment Strategy: Design and manage investment portfolios within life insurance products, incorporating asset allocation strategies and risk management principles.
- Target Date Funds: Leverage experience with Target Date Funds or similar lifecycle investment solutions to create products that adapt to changing investor needs over time.
- Retail Investor Focus: Understand the behavior, preferences, and financial goals of retail investors to deliver personalized and competitive solutions.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on global and regional trends in life insurance investments, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and innovation.
- Saudi Market Exposure (Preferred): Familiarity with the Saudi insurance and investment landscape, including local regulations, cultural considerations, and market dynamics, is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in life insurance investment strategy and product development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and forecast trends.
- Knowledge of asset classes, portfolio construction, and risk-adjusted returns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- International experience in countries like Singapore, South Africa, etc. is a plus.
