We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Light Current Engineer to join our dynamic team within a leading construction firm. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the successful integration of low-current systems such as fire alarms, access controls, and data networks into our various construction projects, enhancing efficiency and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and implement low-current systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and data communication systems for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Conduct site surveys and assess electrical requirements based on client specifications and building regulations.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and project proposals.
- Oversee installation processes and provide technical support during construction phases to resolve any issues.
- Test and inspect systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in low-current systems design and implementation within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional certification as a Light Current Engineer or equivalent is a plus.
