Summary
The Light Current Technical Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of light current systems for construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves supervising design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards. The manager also provides technical expertise and oversees a team of engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage light current systems projects from initiation to handover.
- Ensure systems are designed, installed, configured, and maintained according to standards and best practices.
- Provide expert knowledge and guidance on systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, intrusion detection, public address (PA), and Video management systems (VMS).
- Approve technical drawings, specifications, and system integration designs.
- Collaborate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to align project objectives and resolve issues.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct system inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Identify and resolve technical issues on-site and in the design phase.
- Ensure all work complies with international codes, local regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Train and lead project engineers, site supervisors, and technicians.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Communication Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 710 years of experience in low-current systems, with at least 2-4 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications in systems like VMS, CCTV, or fire alarms (e.g., Milestone, axis, Bosch) are an asset.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
