About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lobby Ambassador to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a desire to create unique and welcoming experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and extending the Arabic hospitality culture to all guests and visitors. You will be serving Arabic coffee, sharing directions, location, and information, giving recommendations, and informing about current promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a good working relationship with all Front Office Colleagues and ensure Guests are greeted upon arrival in a professional and friendly manner and always offer assistance.
  • Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service.
  • Always be available for guests as a point of contact.
  • Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure a smooth service delivery.
  • Extend personal service and attention to all guests, with particular emphasis on Club Lounge and VIP guests.
  • Ensure that the rooming of all guests is according to Yas Plaza Hotels standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and local services and supply information and respond to guest queries.
  • Deal promptly, efficiently, and pleasantly with any queries.
  • Establish, promote, and maintain good public relations and enhance sales for the hotel at every opportunity.
  • Controlling the guests who are waiting in the Queue for check-in and check-out.
  • To know and share all the events, functions, and meetings and in which meeting rooms.

About You

  • Diploma / Degree in hospitality with previous experience in the Front Office Department within a hotel.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a guest services role.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in any additional language is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to manage guest requests and preferences efficiently, calmly, and courteously.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and maintain high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest trends in the hospitality industry to ensure we provide the best service.
  • Must be proactive and able to handle high-pressure situations with ease.
