Job Purpose
Support the monitoring, reporting, and implementation of Local Content requirements and targets across the company, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Local Content reports, dashboards, KPIs, and periodic progress reports.
- Collect, review, and validate procurement, supplier, financial, cost, payroll, and other data required for Local Content reporting.
- Support the preparation and submission of Local Content audit reports and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor Local Content performance against targets and identify gaps and potential risks that may impact target achievement.
- Support the development and follow up of mitigation and corrective action plans to address Local Content risks and performance gaps.
- Stay up to date with Local Content regulations, guidelines, templates, and requirements issued or updated by LCGPA, and ensure relevant changes are reflected in Local Content processes and reporting.
- Monitor changes in Local Content targets and requirements and support plans to meet future targets.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support local supplier registration, supplier development, and localization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve Local Content through procurement and sourcing activities.
- Maintain Local Content records, databases, and supporting documentation.
- Track Local Content related actions, commitments, and deadlines.
- Prepare management presentations and performance updates related to Local Content.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Local Content processes and procedures.
- Perform other Local Content-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Local Content, Procurement, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in Local Content reporting is preferred, compliance, auditing, financial data analysis, or supplier development.
- Good understanding of financial and procurement data, including costs, spend, and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
