Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end supply chain logistics, optimizing procurement processes for cost efficiency and operational excellence
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and improved delivery timelines
- Perform full-cycle procurement activities, including supplier pre-qualification, contract negotiation, and supplier agreement management
- Monitor, expedite, and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify shipments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with purchase orders and specifications
- Maintain a comprehensive shipment database, including tracking and delivery status
- Implement and oversee inventory management strategies to reduce discrepancies and improve accuracy
- Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices in coordination with Finance
- Liaise with Sales and internal stakeholders to align procurement with business requirements
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to support strategic purchasing decisions
- Lead supply chain optimization initiatives using data-driven insights to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to obtain daily Work Order status reports and relay updates to customers
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services through effective vendor coordination
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities to enhance supply chain performance
- Delegate tasks and supervise Purchasing & Procurement Agents across departments
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Purchasing Agents, ensuring performance standards are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve productivity
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
23 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
Prior experience with a freight forwarding or logistics company is required
Basic understanding of procurement, shipment tracking, and inventory management
Strong communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
