Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
Logistics Coordinator to join our hospitality operations team in Dubai. The successful candidate will coordinate the movement of goods, food supplies, hospitality equipment, inventory, and vendor deliveries while ensuring efficient supply chain operations, timely distribution, and uninterrupted support for hotels, restaurants, catering services, and hospitality facilities.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in
logistics, supply chain management, inventory control, warehouse operations, transportation coordination, procurement support, distribution, hospitality logistics, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, deliveries, and transportation schedules for hospitality facilities.
- Plan and monitor the movement of food products, beverages, hospitality supplies, equipment, and operational materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, warehouses, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery delays or logistics issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, inventory reports, shipping documents, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Support procurement and purchasing teams with order tracking and supplier coordination.
- Prepare purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and logistics documentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, storage requirements, and company logistics procedures.
- Coordinate warehouse receiving, stock transfers, and distribution activities.
- Optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor logistics costs and recommend process improvements to reduce expenses.
- Generate logistics performance reports and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with hospitality events by coordinating equipment, supplies, and event logistics.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, Logistics Executive, Warehouse Coordinator, Distribution Coordinator, Inventory Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator, or Operations Coordinator is preferred.
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering companies, hospitality groups, retail, or FMCG industries is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, warehouse procedures, transportation, and procurement processes.
- Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, or logistics management platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and vendor coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
