The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, ensuring accurate dispatch planning, coordinating with internal departments and external service providers, and supporting the monthly production and distribution targets. The role ensures smooth, timely, and cost-efficient product flow across branches and channels.
Responsibilities
- Receive the monthly DRM from the Planning team and ensure all dispatch activities align with the approved plan.
- Receive contribution per SKU per branch per channel from the Sales Analyst team and use it for accurate allocation.
- Update the Local Dispatches file with each month's actual figures.
- Calculate the BTG for each SKU per channel per branch to support decision-making.
- Ensure factories are matching the monthly production plan schedule.
- Arrange local dispatch orders from RC & Scitra and ensure full alignment with the DRM.
- Ensure all dispatches are allocated correctly according to the agreed monthly plan.
- Arrange trucks and transportation requests with service providers in a timely manner.
- Record and maintain all trucking activities for monthly closing and reporting.
- Monitor and match FC shipping targets to maintain the agreed NR.
- Coordinate between Sales, Planning, Factory, and Logistics Service Providers to ensure seamless execution.
- Follow up on issues related to dispatch delays, truck shortages, or misalignments and provide corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
