Core Purpose
To lead the final-mile distribution of physical payment cards. You are responsible for ensuring that cards are delivered only to the verified cardholder, meeting both speed targets and strict banking regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure Chain of Custody: Oversee the secure transfer of cards from the central Hub to the delivery fleet; ensure zero leakage or lost inventory
- KYC/Compliance Management: Ensure delivery agents correctly perform identity verification (ID checks, biometric captures, or document collection) at the doorstep
- Activation Support: Monitor Card-in-Hand to Activation rates, ensuring the transition from delivery to digital use is seamless
- Fraud Mitigation: Investigate any reports of tampered envelopes or suspicious delivery patterns that could indicate internal or external card theft
- SLA Performance: Meet tight Turnaround Times (TAT)often 24-48 hours for new or replacement cards
- Agent Training: Lead specialized training for Brand Ambassadors (drivers) on how to represent the Fintech brand and handle sensitive customer data
- Role Back (Reverse Logistics): Manage the high-security return of undelivered or rejected cards, ensuring they are destroyed or securely stored according to PCI-DSS standards
Requirements
Key Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required
- Experience: Typically 3 to 5 years of experience in last-mile operations, e-commerce, or courier services
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics (SQL, Advanced Excel, Tableau, Looker) to monitor KPIs and performance. Familiarity with Tracking Management Systems (TMS), and routing software
- Leadership & Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage large, diverse delivery teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of parcel networks, courier management, delivery SLAs, and regional, next-day delivery models
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
