Job Description Logistics Manager

Position Title: Logistics Manager

Department: Project Management / Support Services

Location: Riyadh

Reports to: Project Director / Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Logistics Manager will oversee, coordinate, and manage all logistics operations related to Takamul PMC for construction projects. This role ensures the efficient planning, movement, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and resources across multiple project sites. The Logistics Manager will work closely with project management teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project requirements, in line with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures for construction projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the movement of construction materials, heavy equipment, and supplies to and from project sites.
  • Monitor logistics activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
  • Oversee customs clearance, shipping, and transportation processes for imported construction materials.
  • Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling systems.
  • Coordinate with procurement, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective logistics solutions.
  • Implement tracking systems for material flow, equipment utilization, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure compliance with KSA regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements in all logistics operations.
  • Resolve any logistics-related issues, delays, or bottlenecks that may impact project timelines.
  • Prepare logistics reports, dashboards, and updates for project and senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage logistics staff across multiple project sites.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 5 years in construction / PMC / EPC projects in KSA or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics planning, warehouse management, and transportation in large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience with import/export processes, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office, and logistics software/tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Valid transferable Iqama (for expatriates).
