Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Logistic Officer to manage and coordinate logistics, transportation, and material movement for multiple project sites. The role ensures timely delivery of materials, efficient utilization of resources, and smooth coordination between sites, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, and tools to project sites.
- Ensure materials are delivered on time, in the correct quantity, and in compliance with project schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement, site teams, suppliers, and transport providers to optimize logistics operations.
- Manage warehouse and storage activities, including material receipt, issuance, and inventory control.
- Track shipments, prepare delivery schedules, and resolve any logistics-related delays or issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local transportation laws.
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including delivery notes, gate passes, waybills, and inventory records.
- Monitor logistics costs and support cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of equipment across project sites.
- Support audits and inspections related to logistics and material management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably within construction or project-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of transportation coordination, inventory control, and warehouse management.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
