We are seeking a DHA-Licensed General Practitioner with expertise or a strong interest in Functional Medicine, Longevity, and Preventive Health to join our clinic. The role focuses on delivering highly personalized, concierge-level care to clients seeking advanced health optimization, early disease prevention, and strategies for healthy aging. The physician will combine evidence-based primary care with functional and lifestyle medicine approaches, utilizing comprehensive health assessments, advanced diagnostics, and individualized treatment plans to optimize metabolic health, vitality, and long-term wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations focusing on preventive medicine, longevity, and metabolic optimization
- Perform detailed patient assessments including medical history, lifestyle evaluation, and functional health analysis
- Develop personalized treatment plans addressing root causes of disease
- Manage and prevent chronic diseases such as:
- cardiometabolic conditions
- obesity
- insulin resistance
- hormonal imbalances
- fatigue syndromes
- gut health disorders
Functional & Preventive Medicine
- Utilize functional medicine frameworks to interpret advanced laboratory testing
- Prescribe evidence-based interventions including:
- therapeutic nutrition
- lifestyle medicine
- targeted supplementation
- metabolic optimization strategies
- Implement longevity-focused protocols aimed at healthy aging and disease prevention
Diagnostics & Monitoring
- Order and interpret relevant investigations including:
- metabolic panels
- hormonal profiles
- micronutrient testing
- cardiovascular risk markers
- Monitor patient progress using biomarkers, clinical outcomes, and health metrics
Patient Education
- Provide counseling on:
- nutrition
- sleep optimization
- stress management
- exercise prescription
- lifestyle modification
- Empower patients to take an active role in their long-term health
Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, regulatory standards, and medical ethics
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of Dubai-based clinical practice in functional medicine
- DHA Licensed General Practitioner
- Valid medical license in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in regenerative, peptide, and hormonal therapies
- Advanced certification or training in functional or integrative medicine (e.g., IFM, AFMCP, A4M, Fellowship, Diploma)
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and familiarity with AI-enhanced diagnostics are a plus.
