Job Title: Machine Operator
Reports to: Line Leader

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Role Purpose
Responsible for setting up and operating machines and equipment to manufacture tissue, sanitary napkins, and other hygienic paper products under the direction of the Line Leader. The role involves performing complex machine operations, including working with computerized systems to support manufacturing and R&D activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Set up and operate machines within zero-defect tolerance under the supervision of the Line Leader.
- Perform SKU changeovers, including replacing parts and adjusting conveyors, heaters, folders, and other machine components.
- Feed raw materials according to manufacturer recommendations and Line Leader instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor breakdowns; report major issues promptly to the Line Leader.
- Verify raw material compatibility with machines and report any deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate records of SKU settings to improve changeover efficiency.
- Participate actively in machine improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain machines in safe and optimal operating condition.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Leader.

- Follow HSE policies and procedures and apply SCD safety expectations.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
- Report unsafe practices, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards immediately.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in operating paper manufacturing machines.
