Job Description

Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians
Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for farm equipment and machinery
Coordinate and oversee the repair of faulty equipment to minimize downtime
Manage the maintenance of farm buildings, structures, and infrastructure
Identify and address any issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility upkeep
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies
Ensure that all required materials are available for maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
Assist in the development of maintenance budgets
Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary constraints
Generate reports on equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance costs for management review

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering
8 years Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a farming or agricultural setting
Previous supervisory or managerial experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and Hydraulic systems
Familiarity with agricultural equipment and machinery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
