Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to optimize plant operations and minimize downtime.
- Supervise maintenance technicians in charge of repairing production machines and equipment.
- Inspect breakdowns and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all problems that could affect plant operations.
- Manage maintenance tools and equipment before production to ensure an optimum level of safety and efficiency.
- Examine Machines remaining useful life, Asset utilization, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Support in the implementation of the preventive maintenance program
- Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
- Assure Value-Adding Maintenance activities and ensure compliance with statutory maintenance requirements.
- Spare part warehouse and inventory management
- Manage all cascaded KPIs from the maintenance manager, such as maintenance cost, safety, and quality KPIs
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Manage, lead, and motivate a multi-skilled technician group in an empowered team-based environment, ensuring full engagement of team members, to meet company requirements regarding safety and quality.
- Ensuring the spare party by purchasing all needed spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Ensure timely completion of all corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeats of Service and Quality defects, and all audit non-conformances.
- Contributes to Engineering Projects in the assigned area to ensure that maintainability, clear scope, cost effectiveness, and safety requirements are delivered
- Utilize automation tools and software for predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and data analysis to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in the FMCG industry, and an automated environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
