What will you be doing
- Lead and manage the factory maintenance department to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all machinery, utilities, and infrastructure with a focus on juice and dairy processing lines.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and extend asset life.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring high technical performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor machine performance, analyze breakdown causes, and implement sustainable solutions to avoid reoccurrence.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement based on critical equipment needs.
- Plan and execute maintenance during production shutdowns and coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards across all maintenance activities.
- Evaluate new technologies, machinery, and automation systems that enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to ensure optimal technical support.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget while driving cost optimization and energy-saving initiatives.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or any related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in maintenance within FMCG manufacturing with strong exposure to juice, dairy, beverage processing lines.
- Proven track record in managing both preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
- Hands-on experience with pasteurization, filling, packaging, and utilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on developing technicians
- Strong analytical, planning, and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of CMMS systems, maintenance KPIs, and lean maintenance practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
