Maintenance General Manager
Job Description Primary Purpose
To plan, organize, and oversee site maintenance activities to ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in a cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement company objectives and maintenance strategies to ensure effective equipment maintenance and availability.
- Ensure accurate inspection, fault diagnosis, and high-quality repair of all equipment.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are implemented and followed for all equipment.
- Ensure manufacturer parts reusability guidelines are strictly followed and only required parts are replaced.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs in line with the approved department budget.
- Ensure availability, proper use, and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment to maximize productivity.
- Supervise, guide, and develop maintenance team technical performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OEM technical standards.
- Enforce company EHS policies and ensure full compliance by all team members.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all safety procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of maintenance experience, preferably in heavy and construction equipment.
- Proven experience with CAT, Komatsu, Doosan, cranes, road construction equipment, and fleet maintenance.
- Hands-on experience using diagnostic and specialized maintenance tools.
- Strong leadership personality with the ability to enforce discipline and accountability.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
