Responsibilities: Maintenance repair work: 1. Repairs & maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals & manufacturer's specifications machineries & mechanical equipments, such as: motors, gearboxes, pneumatic parts, conveyor systems & production machines & equipments, using hand tools, power tools & precision-measuring & testing instruments. 2. Dismantles devices to gain access to & remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, fork lift & power tools 3. Examines form & texture of parts to detect imperfections. 4. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers & other measuring instruments. 5. Adjusts functional parts devices & control instruments using hand tools, levels, plump bobs & straight edges. 6. Repairs or replaces defective parts using hand tools & power tools. 7. May set-up & operate lathe drill press, grinder & other metalworking tools to make & repair parts.
