Role Objectives
To supervise a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, including HVAC technicians, electricians,
plumbers, and door specialists, ensuring that all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
are completed efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner in accordance with company standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Oversight: Oversee and coordinate all daily maintenance activities, prioritizing and delegating tasks to technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Supervise and manage both preventive and corrective maintenance for a wide range of systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and various door systems (manual and automatic) to maintain optimal functionality and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to the highest possible standards, strictly adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Technical Guidance & Support: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing expert guidance and support to the maintenance team to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Resource & Schedule Management: Plan and manage work schedules, balancing workloads and ensuring the availability of essential tools, equipment, and spare parts to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain open communication with management, providing regular updates on work progress, project statuses, and any potential issues that may arise.
- Team Development & Training: Conduct training sessions for new technicians and provide ongoing support for the professional development of the entire maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Emergency Response: Oversee and manage emergency repair work, ensuring a swift and effective response to urgent maintenance issues to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
- Post-Maintenance Cleanup: Ensure that all work areas and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and restored to their original condition after maintenance tasks are completed to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, documentation, and reports, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) if available, to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
- Technical diploma in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years maintenance experience.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and door systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and building schematics.
- Experience using CMMS preferred.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
