Maintenance Consultant Preventive & Best Practice Maintenance (FIFO / Expat)
Stevin Rock is looking for an experienced Maintenance Consultant to help embed bestpractice maintenance across our operations.
This is not a handson technical role. The focus is on maintenance systems, planning, preparation and execution teaching teams how good maintenance should work.
You will deliver structured training to superintendents, supervisors, team leaders and foremen, building a clear understanding of:
- Corrective vs preventive vs predictive maintenance
- Maintenance planning and job preparation
- Condition monitoring and bestpractice standards
A key part of the role is developing simple, visual training tools such as onepoint lessons, job cards and microSOPs that teams can easily apply in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and Teamsbased maintenance fundamentals training
- Develop onepoint lessons, reference cards and SOPs
- Improve job planning, preparation and execution standards
- Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement
- Work with maintenance leadership to define objectives and KPIs
About You
- Strong background in maintenance systems and methodologies
- Proven experience delivering training or coaching
- Level 3 training / education qualification (or equivalent)
- 510 years relevant maintenance experience
- Mining, quarrying or heavy industry experience desirable
- Excellent English communication skills
