Role Description

The Mamun Doha Ambassador is a contract position in Istanbul with flexible, hybrid work arrangements that permit some remote work. The Ambassador will serve as the local representative of Mamun, connecting with the community to promote its mission and initiatives. Daily tasks include organizing events, fostering connections with potential stakeholders, identifying local opportunities, and supporting Mamun's ventures and participants. This role involves both in-person and virtual networking efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and build authentic connections
• Event planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines and logistics efficiently
• Familiarity with community building, branding, and promotional strategies
• Basic digital marketing and social media management skills
• Understanding of entrepreneurship and venture-building frameworks, especially within culturally diverse contexts
• Self-motivated, with a passion for cultivating a collaborative and inclusive community
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is a plus
• Background or interest in the Muslim entrepreneurial ecosystem and familiarity with Istanbul's local community is an asset
