Summary
Provides senior professional counsel and support in the development and implementation of corporate management processes, programs, plans and systems that contribute strategically to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Adminsitrative Services management
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Assists the Executive Director in providing advice on all issues pertinent to the Administrative Services.
2. Acts as senior capacity as directed by the Executive Director. Acts as a team leader major in Administrative projects as directed by the Executive Director.
3. Applies holistic/ system approach in solving problems facing the KFSH&RC Healthcare system.
4. Advises supervisors in planning projects, conducting studies/projects, developing and implementation of plans. Provides advise on the preparation,allocation, monitoring and reallocatino of Hospital budget/ resources.
5. Makes presentations to high management as assigned by the Executive Director.
6. Coordinates the development of management systems for improving efficiency in Administrative Services. Maintains liaison with key management staff and/or Government agencies or Ministries as assigned.
7. Takes a lead role in the recruitment of senior-level staff and assist the Executive Director with performance evaluation of employees.
8. Assists the Executive Director in conducting special studies and projects. Serves on committees as may be assigned by the Executive Director.
9. Maintains knowledge on current trends in specialty and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
10. Reviews documents and files and informs/advises on related significant issues.
11. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
12. Participate in self and others educational,training and development , as applicable.
Education
Master's, Degree in Management, Health Care Administration, Hospital Administration or Organization required.
Experience Required
Ten (10) years of professional experience in the field of management,including of five (5) years managerial/supervisory experience and in similar duties and function of this job, in hospital setting or a large public organization required.
