Manager Collections who is passionate about improving cash flow, reducing financial risk, and ensuring a smooth and efficient collections process.
In this role, you will oversee the organization's collections operations to ensure receivables are recovered in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with finance, sales, and external stakeholders to resolve payment issues, monitor credit exposure, and implement strategies that reduce overdue balances and strengthen financial performance.
You'll play a key role in improving collections processes, analyzing payment trends, and leading initiatives that support financial stability while maintaining positive relationships with customers and partners.
What you'll do:
- Manage and oversee the organization's collections activities to ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce overdue payments and minimize bad debt.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and recovery rates.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and resolve payment disputes effectively.
- Collaborate with internal finance and commercial teams to address complex credit and payment issues.
- Monitor credit risk exposure and recommend appropriate credit limits.
- Lead, coach, and support the collections team to achieve performance targets.
- Prepare reports and insights on collections performance, trends, and financial risk for management.
- Contribute to improving collections policies, procedures, and financial controls.

Basic Qualifications:
- Be a UAE National (Emirati)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including experience in collections or receivables management.
- Strong understanding of credit management, collections processes, and financial risk control.
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and credit practices.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial/ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
